ABIDE is a teaching ministry of Paul Ainslie, the Student Ministry Pastor of Community Bible Church in Fairfax, VA.

The Core Values of ABIDE:

Abiding in Jesus by studying His word and in prayer – (John 15:7)

"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.”

We recognize the supremacy of God’s word in our lives and seek to give it precedence in every meeting we have together.  During these meetings there will be focused times of prayer and we will be keeping record of answered prayers through our group.  It is our goal to develop an absolute confident expectation in God’s response through our times of prayer.

Abiding in Jesus by fulfilling His commands- (John 15:10)

"If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love.”

Every month we will be organizing outreach’s and service projects for our group to participate in.  The purpose of these events is to give our youth the opportunity to fulfill Christ’s commands to share the Gospel and serve those who are in need.

Abiding in Jesus by loving each other- (John 15:9-12)

"As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.  This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.”

In all of our group interactions it is our goal that the one defining characteristic of ABIDE is that we demonstrate Jesus’ love to everyone.
